Ash Tutors was founded in 2009 by Geoff Ashton, a practising primary school teacher with over 20 years of classroom experience. Based at the convergence of Wigan, Warrington and St Helens, Geoff set up Ash Tutors with a straightforward purpose: to connect families with genuinely qualified tutors and manage the arrangement properly, from first contact through to the end of tuition.
That founding principle has not changed. Ash Tutors remains a small, personally run service — not a national directory, not a platform, and not a marketplace.
